Yes the DVD has more than the ACSI sites. Last year we found it invaluable touring France, Italy, Germany, SPain in February/March. At that time there were very few sites open, but the program knew which ones and which ones also take Dogs etc. We are heading off next week and would not be without one.
Vis-a-vis GPS coordinates, the programe does produce a route, but also using a TOM TOM with European addresses, places are not hard to find.
Hi I have both cards and the dvd at the moment I am on a site in Portugal that takes both cards and it is actually cheaper through the CCI card hard to believe as its only 12 euro a night with the ACSI Card [MHF Link]. As for the DVD we would not be without it now as it comes in very handy you can see what it is like on the website
The only downside to the book and DVD is the lack of GPS co ordinates. . . .
So lets hope the 2009 edition has the co ords.

Don

Thanks Steve...a useful find. We use ACSI low rate campsites a lot in off season and the addresses in the book are not always TomTom friendly so this will be a lot of help.
Hi timbuktu - we regularly take the CCI card issued by the CC. Just phone them for one. I think last year's cost £4.50.
To put another point of view - we bought the ASCI card last year and used it a couple of times only. I'm glad I tried it, but as we try to use municipal sites and other sites near towns and villages, it was of limited value. The discounts are not available in high season so again it depends on when you travel.
The one thing I can recommend though is the CC site books for Europe. Very helpful for all types of sites.
