Hi,
Has anyone used Reisenmobil-Zenrum PALMOWSKI in Beilefeld, Gemany to buy a motorhome and bring it back to the UK?
I have e-mailed them several times in the last fortnight but not had a single reply yet. Is this what I should expect? I was anticipating a bit more of that famed 'German efficiency' that we are always hearing about..........
Cheers,
Allan

Hi Alan,

I have emailed them several times in the last month. All my emails have been replied to, but they sometimes take several days to get back to you.
I have tried to buy two different vehicles from them (special offers) on both occasions they informed me they had been sold. Interestingly they continue to advertise them on their website! I am now buying a Hymer from Durrwang of Dusseldorf. They have been very speedy with their responses so far, and I have now paid the deposit. Re comprehensive insurance from the collection point in Germany, Caravanwise assure me that they can provide this cover.

What are you looking for ???
Maybe I can help. ( or not Smile )

Kind regards

Thanks for the info.
I am after one of their new Volks-Mobil T650's. They look like a good deal, the right size for me and seem very affordable, but I am after info about how long the transaction takes, is there any accommodation locally, how to pay, is it worth going to view first, etc. etc.

Coco1, were you after the same?

Allan

We have dealt with Julien at Palmowski a couple of times for new vehicles.

No problems and a good deal each time.

Cheers

Cheers Dave you have given me hope. I have now addressed an e-mail directly to Julien. Hopefully it will do the trick.
Thanks to everyone for all your help and advice. Cool

Just to keep you updated - it's now four weeks and six e-mails later and still no reply. Rolling Eyes
I guess I'll just have to spend my money elsewhere.

Why don't you just phone them? Their English will be excellent.

Fair comment and I will. I do like the look of the T650 and I don't want to cut my nose off to spite my face as they say.
It's just that I would have expected something back from them..........sogar auf Deutsch! Wink
Cheers,
Allan

Cheers Gaspode, you gave me the kick up the bum that I needed Laughing
I phoned them today and yes, they do speak excellent English. They were very helpful and I have made arrangements to go over there in the first week of March to have a good look around.
Once again, thanks to all for the help.
Saúde, #Beer
