Hi

We need to take out some european breakdown cover for our burstner 747. A couple of companies we've tried don't cover such big vehicles, can anyone recommend any companies that would cover us?

Thanks
Kirsty

We have AA cover paid through the insurance company.

We broke down in our 7.5 tonne RV in Europe a couple of months ago.

Recovery was first class but the after service was Fantastic

When I was seeking such cover for my 3.8 ton & 6.37 M Laika, RAC & AA said not possible due to size, looked at others available, and only one that complied with my needs was Brittania Rescue.
Make sure they do give that cover. It is all hidden in the small print Twisted Evil

From your Avatar it looks as if your MH is on the new Fiat chassis. In which case you have breakdown cover through Fiat that according to people who have used it is as good as it gets.

I had the same problem and solved it by insuring my motorhome with Safeguard. Their prices are quite good and their insurance includes UK and European Breakdown Cover.

Hi

We use Brittania at the moment it gives us 180 days per year out of the UK. We shall look at other companys when the cover runs out.

Hi Kirsty! You have a mean machine there. Looks super! Very Happy

You only asked about breakdown cover. Do I presume you have medical insurance also, or are you relying on the plastic E111? Shocked Confused
