John,

I am still waiting to hear from Martin at Rapido Wokingham that he has got the patch on disk. To be fair to him, he did say that it might take a day or two.

Morning John and Philip,

I've just come off the phone with Martin and the situation is that as yet he does not have the software. It seems that Mercedes and Rapido are "debating" about who should pay the cost.

To be fair to Martin, he was only told of this fix earlier this week and, as he will have to pay the cost initially he needs to know who to recover from before diving in head first!

He expects to have the answer by the end of the month (NEC intervenes somewhat) and has promised to let me know. I'll post back on here when I hear.

Incidentally, I have a solar panel and now we have some sun the problem has gone away. However all through the winter I was having to charge the batteries approximately weekly on EHU. So clearly a problem that needs sorting.

Hello all

I have had a result today, i have received the patch i need for the upgrade for the battery problems on our 999m, from brownhills, all i have to do is to take it to, The Merc garage at Exeter and they will plug it into my 999 , I have put it on to a flash drive to take to Exeter.Brownhills have also told me they will also send it to Merc's at Exeter,so all angles covered

I was told its something under the drivers seat not switching off, this will correct the problem, fingers x'ed
