I can't remember how much it cost then but it is now available for $18 ( about £9) It is very, very easy to use. I set my computer to play a radio play or programme either live or via Listen Again, click on the Total Recorder icon and then press RECORD on the little window that comes up. At the end of the recording press STOP and then SAVE AS and save a wav file of the play or whatever to your computer. It really is that simple. It is very easy to set a timer so that you can record programmes when they are broadcast.
I then burn them to CD or they can be converted to MP3 files and downloaded onto a CD or i-Pod.
It means we can take away whole sets of Afternoon Theatre, Classic Serial, Morning Story...you get the picture.
The program has given no trouble at all.

that sounds good. I love wild camping in some remote picnic area and listening to a good horror yarn in bed with the lights down especially on a stormy night. We had The Rats on last week. Your application might come in useful.
