Hi Geoff

Listen, we are going to have to consider modding you for putting such links on MHF.

But only because there will be no one left here, we will all be looking at Steve's site.

Thanks for posting it. Got to go back now Very Happy Very Happy

Hi,just been looking at the photos of Shieldaig, truly stunning(a phrase that is used far too glibbly these days)but appropriate here!If you are ever there it is possible to "wild camp"behind the village, coming from the south bypass the village and take the northern access, this will take you to the piece of ground(owned by local shepherds)where there is a donation box,all proceeds go to good causes in the village(which you will find very friendly)good hotel bar! This is one of our favourite places in Scotland and if you are there when it is "keily"(appologies for the spelling,I know this is incorrect, but I am sure SOMEONE will put me right!)If you ever make it I know you will not be disappointed.
all the best

He's certainly not using the same camera that I use ! These are spectacular.

They make me want to go straight out to the van and set off north.

Thanks for the link

Hi Teckie

When you look at them you would think so wouldn't you but elsewhere on his site he tells you he uses a Nikon D2x.

I used to use a Sinar P2 5x4 camera for commercial work. The trannies and the B&W prints we produced on a Devere enlarger were fantastic.

However when I printed some 36 inch x 24 inch prints for a friend who had used a Canon at 17million pixel I realised that digital had surpassed film.
