We bought our trailer from Dave Cooper (google it!) it cost £300 and comes complete with light board. They do a cheaper lighter one. (delivery was £47)

We have no problem loading our R1 on it. hook it up, put the ramp on and gently drive it up standing at the side then hit the kill switch. The balance is good with the bike on. If I need to unhitch it to turn around then there is only 30lbs or so nose weight.

I have unloaded the bike off the camper, with my Wife holding the front up so it doesnt flip as the back wheel comes off. No problem.

Towing is fine, we went around snowdonia with it.

Off the camper we put a hitch lock on the trailer and leave it next to the camper.

Hi Patsy4 when you have got it sorted can you let me know as i am about to go down the same road as you ie towbar and trailer for a Honda Deauville which weighs approx 220kg.

Dave

I Dave we have managed to buy a cracking trailer secondhand on ebay it is collapsible, in that it comes apart. The centre section tips to allow easy loading and has a winch to winch up the motorbike. Treales trailers sell it for £1000. It is a fantastic piece of engineering, and you can literally load a big bike single handed. Now we have to sort out a tow bar.[/quote]

We have used in this year in France, Spain, Portugal and it was fantastic, most times if not staying long and the site was not busy we left it hitched to the motorhome, if not we secured it to a tree or something. In England we have used it a couple of times so far and one occasion we collapsed it and stored it under the motorhome. The winch was great and it was definetly able to single handed on to the trailer, towed well. I will try to attach some photos not that great at the techie side of things, but if you need any more info my hubby is the one to speak too.

Kind regards
Pat

expensive but if you don't have the capacity to hang a bike on the back its one answer plus you get easy reversing.

These don't appear to articulate between the towing vehicle and trailer, so would increase the overhang even more.

Turning left might swing it across the centre of a narrow road. If you were to turn left
