filling up with water Forums

We are going up to Scotland in March and are planning on going wild. Where do you get water for filling up tank from? Would be grateful for any advice.

If it fits in with your plans you're welcome to fill up at my house. We live in Blackford on the A9 half way between Stirling and Perth. As a general rule there's plenty of CL's you could spend the odd night.

Garage, Bus garage, Transport / lorry depot, Fire station, Council depot, Ferry terminal,

Have used all the above in the past, only trouble with a garage is the water tap is slow, I have always found the transport yards the most friendly and helpful, and have water taps with a hose for washing down out in the yard, also all the ferry piers will have water and a skip for rubbish,

If going up the west coast, A77 Ballantrae has a nice place to overnight on the sea front, at the small pier,

The give-away is the round brick thing, the handle and the bucket on a string!

Nothing wrong with well-water, but I doubt that it is - there would have to be electricity for a pump and a storage tank. Unlikely.
