hi all
we will have to find storage where we can come and go when we want to just outside the west side of the london emission zone .
anyone got any ideas --we were thinking of the c&cc site at walton or chertsey for instance ,is this a feasible option?

have you asked the sites??

why not check out CASSOA as well - this is the Caravan Storage Site Owners' Association - www.cassoa.co.uk. many sites are secure as well

I use one local to me for my motorhome which has excellent security in place

you will also need to inform your insurance company if you do go off-site as this could affect your premiums - will depend on the site and if CASSOA registered isn't an issue per se

Hi,

I know this is a late post but you did not get many replies. When we lived in London we stored our MH at the CC site at Welwyn Garden City. On Friday nights we would leave work around 4.15pm get the tube over to Kings Cross station and then one of us would get a taxi to the site (£5) and the other would do the shopping for the nights. We would do this for about 30 nights of the year.

It worked for us although the track upgrades on the weekends were a pain if you had to do 'bus replacement' We went out to Stevenage and back on a different line to avoid the big bus trip.

We do not do it anymore as we are back in Aus (The first day of winter tomorrow and it is forecast to be 21 in Adelaide)

Regards,

Brian
