This is probably a bit late but just returned from a short break at Rowntree Park York CC site. Chatting to the warden and he informed me that there have been quite a few cancellations for Xmas/New Year (very unusual, you normally have to book a year in advance), so if you fancy a last minute Xmas or new year break, give them a ring, its a brilliant site for the festive period.
