Doesn't looking at these photos make you wish you were parked up somewhere nice at the moment.

There was great light and stillness in the air first thing this morning but all I could see was the traffic going by.

Have to content myself with editing.

On almost every single day throughout the past month I've had to make an effort to ignore a very strong feeling that I "need" to be travelling. It's so strong that likening it to whatever compels migratory birds to move with the changing seasons does not seem to be overstating my case. I think it's because we had such a good and varied holiday last March and I'm extra-conscious that this year we'll be pretty much stuck at home until June. Sad

Until after the final round. Then the top 3 from each round will go forward to the overall competition, which will be voted on by MHF subscribers.

You know I said "I'd be pleased to help out with the judging..." Confused

Yes to the first part of your thread.

(B) Not here there wasn't, been trying to paint me 9' x 16' garage doors for the last week, doing them bit by bit in between the apalling conditions.

Have got a nice camoflage Autumnal effect on the fresh paintwork thanks to the 'Mighty Oak' and the howling gales.

Should be nearly finished this time next week ... weather permitting. Shocked

I'd like to upload an image for this competition but am unsure how to upload two different sizes (I see there is usally a large sized image and a 640 x 480).

Sorry to be a pain. Can anyone help? Embarassed

The software at the MHF end produces the thumbnail and the one that is typically 640*480 from a larger image. Just upload one which can be any size but the larger the slower.
