I can only say, if you haven't got one, get one Very Happy

We used it every day whilst away, for all our meals

from reheating a curry to cooking breakfast and an evening meal.

excellent

I can only reply, "Told you so!" Laughing Laughing

Brilliant bits of kit, and such a simple concept. Do you know the history of them - it's very interesting? I could post some info if you can't find it on the web.

Wouldn't be without ours now! Very Happy Very Happy

Cheers

But do you have to be on site to use it? I have considered a slow cooker that will run on 10Watts whilst sitting in the sink cooking away and in transit?
Am I way off mark with this idea?

You are if you have an accident and a gallon of red hot stew hits you in the back of the neck - assuming we both mean the same by "in transit". Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

And before Pusser gets here, I know you won't have a problem if you drive a Fiat!! (Groan!!) Laughing Laughing

We love ours too! if you have a round sink it sits in there perfectly with no chance of anyone knocking it off of taking up valuable space on the work surface. We have just got the split pan to go inside so we can cook meat and veg together in same pan.

Only had one disaster and I don't think there has ever been so much laughter in the van. Got 2 pizza's and decided to cook them together using the metal grill pan type wire that you can get for them. Would have been fine except the base one was a thick and the top was a thin and crispy. I kept an eye on them for a while and all looked fine, sat down had a round of cards and checked again, the top one had completely collapsed into the base one making one huge pizza, great for my son and I but not too good for Andy who missed out on a delicious looking meal.

Not used my new book yet but will be doing soon, looks and sounds to be some excellent things in there.

It all sounds great, but looking at them, I see they come in three different sizes. Which size have you opted for and was this the right decision?

There are 4 of us and we have the Grand it fits the sink perfectly and the new split pan will fit either that one or the medium one, the grill section that we use for garlic bread etc when cooking the chilli under it also fits the Medium and the Grand, not sure if they do one for the Small one.

The grand is perfect for us but I would say for 2 maybe the medium, but I am sure others who have the small one will be able to tell you better. I think you have to decide the kind of things you will want to cook in it, the Grand probably takes longer as it is a bigger area to heat.

We got our standard one on Saturday for use both home and away. I have used it both days so far and am very impressed. There are only 2 of us but I managed to do a casserole which had enough for 3 portions and we have large portions (hence our weight problem).

I got the recipe book as well and there are some smashing recipes in there which I will be trying. I was going to replace my fan oven as it cooks too fast I won't bother now.

we needed to cook quite a bit more than would fit into our medium remoska so i put the heating element ontop of a 20cm stockpot and stood it on a wooden chopping board and it worked perfectly
