Now I don't want to get personal but how has Motorhomersimpson managed to get a bigger one than the rest of us - avatar that is? The maximum size is given as 80 x 80 and his is far larger than that. It takes me all my time to get this little blue bird to fly (he started off as a Pigeon but has been waiting in the cold so long he's now turned blue).
Seriously can anyone tell me how to add a picture to the bottom of my posting, tried all ways but only managed to put in a link, now want to insert the animation. Please, please, tell me so that I can stop trying and get on with something else.

A subject close to my heart as i have spent many hours messin' and trying to get animations on my posts (computers dontcha luv em?), i am thick when it comes to computers so this will be in basic english as opposed to techno-talk--
First up, you need somewhere to put the selected picture/animation. The easiest way i find is to download it into somewhere on 'my pictures' on the computer. From there, you need to upload it to a webhost or ideally to your gallery in MHF. Haven't got a clue on the former so the easiest way for me is to upload a chosen photo/animation to my photo gallery in MHF. I'm assuming you know how to do this.
Once thats done go to the chosen item/photo in your gallery and right click on it and select properties, this will give you the URL or website address of the chosen item. Highlight the url by clicking and dragging over the address until its all highlighted in blue then right click and select 'copy' or, make a note of the complete url (ie - http/:ww.motorhomefacts.com/photos/jpg etc etc)
Now go to your profile and look for the 'signature' box.
In here type {img}right click and paste for the chosen url or type it in{/img}
note that the squiggly brackets shown need to be replaced with square brackets or it won't work.
Then save your profile and have a look at one of your posts to see if its worked!
Done it at last, [b:6c56513837]many thanks to Peejay[/b:6c56513837].
The bit I was missing was the at each end of the url. Had managed to get the rest in.
A good start to the New Year and I can now sleep in peace
Have a great New year's Eve and best wishes to everyone for health, wealth and happiness in 2005, wherever you may travel
