I've just finished testing them before fitting them to the van.

Output into the habitation & vehicle battery can be seen on the control panel.

Dave.

Frank.

Sorry bout the late reply. I've been out for a pedal.

Circa £400 each for the 90W panels.

Well if you pedal you could put more Ah into your battery by connecting a cheap exercise bike to a generator and pedalling your way to fitness and full batteries. Typical output 300W (peak) for the price of about a 90W panel Smile .

We have 2x 120amp batteries and an 85 watt solar panel fitted by A.Butt at the Stratford show last year. Best thing we ever did as van is always topped up without plugging it in when idle and do not need electric now (except in middle of winter for our oil heater)

WOULD RECOMMEND A.BUTT BUT PHONE UP BEFORE THE SHOW AND BOOK THEM TO MAKE SURE AS THEY ARE VERY POPULAR. tHEY DID A BRILLIANT JOB AND WE PAID MORE TO HAVE THE VISUAL regulator so we could see how much sun was going into the battery.

If you want 2 tvs maybe the 130 watt if you can afford it.

Hi

Spoke with A B Butt today, and I must say, they sound like very nice people over the phone and i`m now waiting for an email with a price.

also spoke with Air and Sun who also seem nice.Steve the guy I spoke to there had alot of time for me and went through everything very thoroughly. The only problem with them at the moment is,they dont do the shows and are to far from me,being in west yorks.

At a show you can have a solar panel fitted in a field by a guy who rushes around screwing panels onto vans.

My suggestion is have it fitted by a firm who only fit one a day without rushing and to save penetrating the roof with screws they use Glue.

They will also advise which size panel and what accessories you need to go with it.
