????? What Covent Garden CC site?

What you can do depends on where you're staying, and how much you're prepared to travel. The big wheel on the Thames is a must, maybe you could see a show, Covent Garden is always interesting - it depends on what you like to do.

Hi Billybilbo

Do you mean the Crystal Palace CC site? We are staying there next week for a few days. There isn't a site at Covent Garden. Not very motorhome friendly there, I would imiagine.

We are going on the London Eye and a river boat and taking it from there.

Tim

Visit Greenwich Maritime museum and if the weather is good enough take a boat ride to the Thames Barrier

Quite a lot of Camden Market is left. The main Stables market was not touched. It was the small one across the road which burnt down. The best time for the market is Fri. Sat. Sun. as most places are open then. A good way, I think, to see London sights is to get on the 24 bus which routes cover central London. One end is the Tate, Pimlico and other end is Hampstead Heath.
If you have an all zones pass, on this route you can hop on/off and visit The National Portrait Gallery, Trafalgar Sq, Leicester Sq, Whitehall, Big Ben, Victoria, .And there is even a bus stop near Covent Garden!! As for eating out, there is lots of "Eat as much as you like" places all over at very good prices. Enjoy.
