When I was wandering around our fair capital today, I noticed several shops advertising the '3' dongle for mobile internet.

Has the price been reduced? £10 per month (1GB download), with no charge for the dongle - 18 month contract. Sounds like a good deal.

yes it's a great deal. you can also
get 3gb for £15. I have one from work, use it on the train. Only thing is, should you exceed your allowance you will be hammered. See MoneySavingExpert.com for details. The recommendation is to download some free software which will tell you exactly how much you have downloaded. The 3 software does this, but according to vMoneySavingExpert you should get some backup.

What's really great about this is you just shove it into your USB, it installs, and then you're online - no hassle with modems etc. I had a devil of a job with my netgrear router at home.

Had one of these delivered yesterday, very fast next day delivery. As Beagle said just plug in and it self installs. Only problem is out here in the sticks the signal is not strong enough to browse the net, but did manage to get a couple of emails come through.
We are going out at the weekend so will try it out at one of the "turbo" spots shown on the coverage map to see if it works OK. If not there is a 14 day return option.
If it does work then I think £10 a month for a casual browse while out and about is good value.

Marvelous how the prices and contract terms are now improving,I did say it would be best to wait for a little while as deals would be on the cards as they fight for our money and business.
Vodaphone now offering for £15@ 3 gig allowance, speeds up to 7.2 Mbps.now when they offer a 6 month contract @£10 incl vat. speeds at least 7Mbps.no limited download.not allowing continuous use 24/7 of course.
then I just might part with the cash. Or I might think is'nt it nice while away from home there is no computer. Cool Cool
