Hi all,

Having had no luck elsewhere, Carol Wright recommended I ask the following on this forum;

I'm desperately looking to borrow a motorhome (to be stationary) to accomodate cast and our make-up artist for a film in folkestone on the 3rd April. If you are local to Kent and would be interested, I can pay you £50 and arrange for a driver to take you back home until we wrap at around 6.30, when they would pick you up. Alternatively, you could hang around the set, but you would be very bored!!

If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, please contact

P.S. - I apologise for the multiple posts on the forum, I am just trying to get the message across since I am shooting in 2 weeks.

Cheers,

Neil Neenan

Well, I'm not really surprised. Rolling Eyes

Can I suggest that instead of making what is obviously viewed here as a derisory offer of payment you'd do far better to ask if anyone would like to allow you to use their M/H FOC with perhaps some recompense for expenses? There are lots of folk around willing to help out on interesting projects just out of curiosity but offering £50 for a days hire of a vehicle that may have a value of £50,000+ won't get much response (except derision). You'll also need to provide some concrete evidence that proper insurance is in place just in case of damage to the vehicle etc.

This seems similar to a scam highlighted on 'The Real Hustle' or am I wrong.
