Thanks for all the replies.

Having done some browsing, consulting of Gaspode and StAubyns (to name but a few!) I'm leaning strongly toward a Maxview Crankup.

Expensive I know but so convenient, and that's worth a lot when it's hissing down and you need to tune in or pack away ready to move off.

I haven't heard a single negative comment about it either, and that says a lot.

I think that Swift have used several models of AV system even in the first year. We have a digital tuner and a switching box hidden behind a cupboard and a drop down monitor TV (no tuner) in the cab. There is also a socket outlet for TV.
The reversing camera works through the drop-down TV.
It has been unreliable and I think that they fit different models now.
As digital TV's are now common they may fit that - I don't know. Swift seem to have a good record and should be able to tell you.
A more likely problem is a fault. We have had a lot of problems with ours.
