A large proportion of 'news' posted on here turns out to be a fabrication passed on from the internet.
But this is a real EDM, not a fabrication. Do you think Austin Mitchell has simply not bothered to ask for evidence?
And is it considered a bad thing for a thread to be put into the Members' Bar?
Yes its a real EDM but what is the evidence for a real problem.
Yes things in the members bar tend to be put there because people can't have intelligent debate. Therefore they are put out of the way of googlebots and non-subscribers etc

Disgraceful - retract that statement. You tell me One Penny of his lawful expenses that he has not claimed in full. Do you realise how tiring that it. It takes *serious* effort. Some people are just plain ungrateful. Regards, Colonel Harvey Marchington-Blimp Smythe.
Sir,
You are a cad, a rotter and a bounder of the first order. I demand a retraction or it will be...........
I think it would be dreadful for this to be passed. Last year I was the official photographer at a dance comp. One father was taking photographs of his daughter and the organisers told him he was allowed to.
He turned on me thinking I had asked them to. I told him I had not and he was still welcome to buy one of mine even if he was taking his own. As it happens he did as he was so pleased with my shot .
It turns out the staff had used me as an excuse which I was not pleased about. They then told me that I could not take action shots in case anyone complained. I then had parents on my back who wanted action shots.
Now take this to the public arena. You are taking pics on a beach - illegal, you are taking photos at your child's wedding - illegal, you are taking holiday snaps - illegal etc etc.
It was on the news yesterday so it is all gaining speed
