All, I had the pleasure of going to this beach yesterday, for a drive out.. Lovely little place, wondered if I could wildcamp in the grass area next to the beachuts.. Seems the 'estate' wants all vehicles out of the area by 20.30 every night Sad

failing that :

Instead of paying £000's to join the windsurfing club there, what's to stop me paying the £2 daily car park charge, and surf all the day with the RV there for me, returning back to a site nearby for the night.. ?

John

Yes, I didn't think they'd like overnighting there Rolling Eyes the daily charge is Ok until it goes up (after 1st April?) for the summer season. It's a good spot, and yes there are a few sites & Cl/ Cs's around a few miles away. "The Ship" pub at Itchenor may be amenable to you overnighting occasionally as long as you paid for a meal & a few drinks. Silas (yes, really!) is the landlord (one of my clients). There is also a public car park at east Wittering - not at quite such a nice location as west wittering.

he used it after having the day at WW

You could also park up daily at Beachlands, Hayling Island; they don't like overnighting, I think, but a great spot for windsurfing.

many thanks Mike

just read the post you linked too..

Yep did drive onwards to E Wittering and no barriers and no signs to say 'no overnighting'

There was a discreetly parked Hymer there too..

Smile

Caravan Club CL near Chichester. Woodlands Farm, very large field, nice surroundings and cheap. No EHU's, but we have spent many happy times there.

My mechanic told me, "I couldn“t repair your brakes, so I made your horn louder."

IF YOU CAN´T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU´VE GOT AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.
