Russell,

There is an aire at Epinal GPS Coords N48 10.723 E6 28.133

It's a way out of town near the football pitches. OK for large outfits.

Don

Gerald, the coords on your link are incorrect, Chemin Du Chaperon Rouge is to the east of Epinal, yours is in the river Laughing

Theres a better location map on cc infos, its outside the muncipal campsite but also states no parking. Not sure if this is the same one Don is referring to though.

Morning troopers

I would not have got lost Gerald with your co-ordinates - I use paper and pen rather than that blooming talking thing.

Not sure whether to head for Epinal or stay further south near Bussang etc. I can't really see an issue with wild camping at this time of the year. There a a few Hotel Campanile's on that road so I will park there and have a steak and chips supper if needs be.

Might come back via the Simplon Pass though - if the skies are clear and so on.

Rolling Eyes Buon giorno, website says open MARCH to September
Anyway Russell, along that route from Epinal towards Mulhouse campsites, aires, and suitable stopping places are ten a penny; every village has one or two.
saluti,
eddied
