I have dozens of photos, in jpeg format, that I want to put in a family blog. At the moment they are all 72.25 cm by 54.19 cm, which is too big. I want them about 14cm by 10.5 cm
I know how to reduce each photo individually, using Adobe Photoshop Elements, but this is going to take a very long time.
Is there any way I can reduce several ( all ?) in one go ?
Hi Big G
Isn't there a batch resizer in CS? Under "File"?
Gerald...please what is CS ?
Russell...that looks a good download. It says it will do multiple files which is just what I want. I'd like to try to avoid downloading anything new if possible though...my sons say that I download too much and this is why my computer gets it's knickers in a twist so often. They're coming at the w/e so don't want to give them any ammunition !
I agree with Rapide561... Pixresizer makes it easy
I have all the posh tools but I still like Pixresizer << .... and it is free

There is a Batch resize in Photoshop CS but not sure if it is in Elements - IN CS it's under Automate - batch - then choose the re-size option. There are also several share ware packages around that allow you to resize for publishing on the Web. You could download a free 30 day copy of Photoshop Lightroom and use their resizing option in WEB Gallery to make a folder prior to publishing on the web - that way you could resize them all easily with no specialist knowledge - its all done by magic.....
just read you last reply... don't upset the sons... try easyelements<<< for instructions
