I am having trouble. Every time it rains, water runs down the window screen,and leaves a white deposit on the sreen. The only way I can remove it, is by using washing up liquid.
Is there anything I can use to stop this happening.
This is becoming a big pain.
My Motorhome is Auto trail Tracker EKS.
Hope you can help me.

are you sure it is mastic? it sounds as though the paint is starting to lose its finish and that is what is running down. try waxing the roof to seal it.

Hi ken It sounds as tho the top glaze is oxodizeing give it a good clean with t cut them a good polish I always use Mer.

And dont use washing up liquid-it will rot the steel front end in no time-main constituent in most is salt !

Personally I would not use T Cut on fibre glass mouldings. It will remove the top paint layer....simply polish.

Sorry I have not been back to you all.
Just been on holiday.
Well about the mastic.I don't think it is the paint oxidising.
When I put the Silver screen up, after it rains it leaves a black like oil stain, the only way I can get it off is using liquid soap.
