hi autoquest

yes, it was me. had an autogas problem after refilling at bromsgrove, and an engine management light came on. so called out safeguard at 3.30pm. eventually arrived at 5.45pm, but sent a truck only 3 ton capable, despite being told 7.5 tons (8.15 actually), 34 feet long and 8'6" wide. advised us to be towed away, so waited for a bigger truck, with the smaller one stationed to stand guard, and the hard shoulder re-closed. got there about 7.30 or so, and was only just big enough. eventually towed to dave's motorhomes at cannock, arriving 9.45pm. dave immediately checked engine management system, and said only prob. was exhaust temperature, prob caused by autogas / petrol switchovers. fantastic service from dave, who came out to meet us, and refused a tip! probably a split gas pipe or something come loose in that area. will keep you informed.

thanks for the concern

des
