Most don't allow additional cars, and you're right a lot simply don't have the room.

We are leaving our's behind in June as we almost exclusively use Aires.

Hi Ian
Travelled from calais to marbella and used aires and truckstops all the way. We have a 30 RV and a Daihatsi Sirrion on an A frame.
Every aire we found had parking for lorries and we used that facility. No problems at all
Good luck
regards

Lorries are NOT allowed on French Aires, even caravans are NOT allowed i think you may be talking about motorway Aires and these are NOT places you would stay overnight if you want to sleep peacefully.

mmm, yes have to agree with Bob here, we're not talking about travelling through France by whatever means, I'm sure that is possible, but staying at Aires which are invariably limited to 'small' traffic, for instance we pulled up at one late one night and our meagre 23' would not have been able to park in a bay and had to park across two bays, we were very fortunate that no one else came that night.

We used aires last year with the toad. On some sites where space was tight we unhooked the car and parked it in convenient corner. We had no objections or comments against the toad.
Just be considerate to the other users and you will be ok.
