We are just outside Foynes on the southern shore of the Shannon estuary about 25 miles west of Limerick and the dongle is working fine. Reasonable speed and signal strength.

Sitting in Cabby's Fleurette at Edinburgh CC site. Very good signal here. It's just started raining, rats.
Will be moving on to Braemar CC site on Thursday, not expecting too much there!

Am using mine at home now, and had no problems - add Greenwich and Blackheath.

... down here it just rains cats & dogs Laughing

Now to the serious bit, and please note : this is not a joke.... So do not laugh.

The attached picture shows my "signal enhancer". Pointed towards the town and the mast it lifts a 3G very slow signal up to an acceptable 1/2 meg at my home... where, as shown on the 3 coverage map, we are just outside the area for high speed, officially only 2G.

I shall be taking it on our travels and will test it in some other marginal spots ( as long as no one is looking Laughing )

Mike
