Some members seem to be having difficulty entering the chat rooms, here is what is causing it:-

If you have ZONEALARM installed on your system,
ZONEALARM seems to be the most problematic software that blocks SPChat,
REMEDY
Find the quick launch icon for zonealarm beside your monitor clock on the bottom of your screen, right click on it and exit, enter chat. (You can enable ZA again once you are in chat with no interference whatsoever.

POP UP STOPPERS
seem to prevent you from entering chat,
REMEDY
Press and hold down CTRL key on keypad and enter chat(Hold CTRL key down until a new window appears)
If the above does not work you can find POP UP ICON below beside your clock, right click on the icon and press exit, remember to press it again once you are in to enable pop ups.

If anyone has Windows XP SP2 pack installed, it blocks pop up's.

To remedy this, see here

I have noticed a fair number of "new" members trying (and failing) to get into the chat room lately. Such a pity, those of us who have cracked it are enjoying a good time every night and new friendships are being formed Very Happy as well as it being a good laugh.
PLEASE if you are having difficulties - read the posts on this thread, it's easy when you know how. Cool
I am in every night from about this time, hope to see some new names tonight Wink

Gill
