I've used OE since it was invented for email and don't forget newsgroups has served me well compared to the MS Operating systems.
I am not to keen on the Vista Windows Mail which is OE with a different name because they have taken away the abilitiy to use two or more identities which is good for me to keep stuff apart. Chaos Software, (I use Time and CHaos as a PIM) has a very nice version of their own OE which I do like but have not yet botthered to change over.
oh Yes and you need Windows Exchange to be able to network your appointments in the office which you can get for a few hundred. Nothing with TIme and CHaos except the pirce of the program
Pusser, I got three email addresses on Livemail if thats what you mean, and if you follow the link , in a couple of hours ( thats what it took me, you can do it in 5 minutes, but I'm crap ) you can link your accounts so that you can press alternate names and see whos who in your domain

Thanks for that but I you can have multiple email addresses in the new Windows Mail as before in OE but with IDentities you can log in as a different person thus keeping your emails seperate and not all coming down in one heap or more to the point in the same folder. It is merely the option of multi identities that I cannot use in Vista although of course you can log in as an entirely different user but sod doing that each time.

I also use Gmail, but by default because Sky mail is in fact google mail.
But for me its spam filtering is too strong.
Normally I use the POP3 interface, and Outlook. I recently sent a mail to an organisation, and wondered why they had not replied. About a month later whilst on Holiday I looked at my mail via the web interface, instead of Outlook, and there was the reply sitting in the SPAM folder.
I would like to turn the SPAM filtering off, but cannot find a way of doing so in Gmail, or in Sky's version of it.
I have my own way of dealing with Spam - several different e-mail addresses for different purposes, and if one gets contaminated I just delete it and use another instead.
