Fenwicks is the best, they do a cleaner that removes most streaks and also a black streak remover for the more stuborn ones.

Hi Bill
I use "black streak remover" from Discover its great does just what its called. I have been told but yet to try that the waxy stuff you can buy at shows the one they always offer to clean your leather shoes with, put it on the rubbers around the windows and it stops the streaks.
Good Luck Chris

Muck-Off - I always have some for cleaning the muck off (no pun intented) my motor bike engine. It does the trick. In fact I use it for all sorts, including grease off the cooker at home.

Regards.

Just by a fluke, I sprayed some WD40 on the black streak by accident (holding too many things in my hand!!!) and rubbed it off and the black streak came away no problem.

Re the above on the rubber. Can you advise 'the waxy thing' that you put on shoes, please? Do you know the brand name? Joy

Most hard surface cleaners should do the job.
Look under your kitchen sink and see if you have any in a trigger spray for houehold cleaning.
