Received an invitation to the 'World Series by Renault' which is at Silverstone this year. Good mix of racing, displays and games for the kids and it is FREE yes free.
It is a 2 day event but I do not know if you can park at the circuit or if they have space for motorhomes in the main car parks. Hopefully someione will be along who does.
Thanks for the tip. WE have just sent off a request for some tickets, and Renault emailed straight back to say they are on their way.
Great value
At that price we can't afford to miss em
Possibly see you there

We went to the weekend last year (at Donnington) - it was a very enjoyable weekend for all the family.
I tried to find info on camping at the circuit, but came up blank. In the end, I booked into a small, local site on the Friday night, then travelled to the site on the Saturday morning. When I got there, I asked one of the marshalls where the campsite was and he pointed me in a general direction, and told me to ask someone else when I got nearer. I just headed for a group of motorhomes and pitched up near them. As it turned out, this was just a part of the car park, not the campsite. By the end of the day, there were dozens of motorhomes, caravans and even tents all in this area. We didn't get bothered by any circuit staff, and didn't even have to pay anything!
I would suggest just heading there on either the Friday night, or the Saturday morning and seeing what is there - if you're brave!
Me? I'm working this year so can't attend. Shame.
