Hi everyone
Is it detrimental to use "bog-standard" (hehe) toilet paper in a thetford cassette?
Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated.

We had a terrible fight last night.....my wife asked me what was on the TV and I said "dust".
I treat every day as if it was my last. One day i will be right.

You can use any you want.
It will break down nearly as quick as the expensive stuff.

We always do, and have never given it constipation or bunged up it's orifice.
Some folk recommend the very cheap paper, but . . . how can I put this?? . . . . oh hell, your finger pokes through if you're not very careful.
We just take a couple of rolls from home. It very quickly turn to porridge in the cassette and is easy to swill out and dispose of.
I'm looking forward to Pusser's reply. He is the acknowledged expert on this subject.

Thanks, Johnny.
It is more "convenient" to use ordinary paper, and a let less expensive.
I would hate to flush money down the pan when it wasn't necessary.

Not recommended.
Fivers would not turn to porridge, and they're ever so difficult to get clean afterwards.
Ironing them is a pain as well.

During the Thatcher years government offices were advised to use both sides of the paper to reduce waste.
When I worked as a yacht toilet designer we experimented with toilets made of clear Perspex so that we could see the 'motions in motion' - there was no noticable difference in performance whatever paper was used.

How can you have a toilet question without the humour???
Mind you I can't think of anything remotely funny to say
Have used ordinary loo roll since the roll of 'special' that the dealer gave us, ran out. (I kid you not) Some dealers are just all heart!!
