Hi Gerry,

You mention that HD is excellent - do you know how many channels (or hours) of HD viewing are there at present?

Pete,
There is only BBC in HD at present, and then only in the evenings. ITV and Channel 4 are due to start, ITV very soon according to their website but no ETA yet. Speaking to BBC and Humax to day it is definitely iminent. ITV will not be a separate channel, just red button selection from the SD channel.

You should get Freesat wherever you get Sky.

Can someone explain this. What satellite, which frequency, can I see anything here in Italy. As I understand it even if I can get the signal it will be scrambled unless I have the proper box to unscramble it. What does EPG mean. Can I buy a box and have it shipped here.

I assume campers will want to access it while traveling in Europe.

I now have a dish and get lots of free channels but nothing from BBC other than Sky News and BBC World. Will these free channels be beamed only to the UK.
