Looking good Biggy.

Quoting "80 radio and TV channels" is a bit meaningless however.

Anybody know how many TV channels there will be?

You can receive Freesat with any dish that currently sees the Sky service. But to see the Freesat EPG you will need a Freesat approved receiver. There are currently about 54 TV channels and 20 Radio channels, but this is due to grow quite quickly. Channel 5 will appear as soon as they can sort out the legal issues with SKY.
Currently there is only one box available, the Humax Foxsat-HD. There will be boxes from Alba, branded Goodmans, Bush and Grundig with SD and HD versions of each, but late on Friday afternoon Freesat announced that the Alba boxes could not be approved for sale until 10th May at least. There are currently software issues.
I have samples of all three boxes and can report that the Humax is performing very well. Picture quality is as good as it gets in SD and excellent in HD. Has outputs for RGB, Component and HDMI as well as Digital Optical Audio. Cannot report on the Alba boxes as to date there is not a fully working box. As soon as I can get a new software version I would hope to get a working box. This is not to say that there is anything wrong with the boxes, just insufficient development time. The Alba HD box operates on 5Volt so will suit motorhomers.

Gemmy,
If you have a receiver from Maplins you can get the same channels but you will not be able to see the EPG.

Tony,
If you want to see the EPG, and therefore know what is on or coming up, yes you will need a Freesat receiver. As I said earlier, the only one available for sale at present is the Humax. Bush, Goodmans and Grundig will appear hopefully next week.

Oops! Just checked our price list and I know we have the Humax in stock, but we are not showing it on a price list yet. Maybe tomorrow.
