I am really disappointed to find that when checking with Fiat UK over a couple of things, it turns out our new (April 18th) Rapido has 3 known recalls....

Great isn't it.

There is one Code I think was 5274 and so far no one seems to know what it is - both Fiat and Chelston are supposedly trying to find out.

She is phoning me back tomorrow...so hopefully nothing too serious...

The ones I know of is a Software Upgrade to do with Fuel.
A Brake Hose modication...doesn't sound good
and this 5274

When Duncan opened the bonnet we discovered water - yes well I know you have all been there, but this just proves that they STILL haven't solved it. So that is going to be added to our list as well..

I spoke to the lady about the juddergate and also said we hadn't yet had an opportunity to try it out...she was aware of the problems some people are having....

According to the VOSA website our motorhome was build between Nov and Dec.... after they knew of the problems...

Carol

Some X250 Recalls are listed below.

5219 Steering Rack
5221 Corroding Injectors
5222 ABS Control Unit
5223 Front Wiper
5247 Fuel Injector Flash
5251 Power Steering Pipe.

These I had done. I do not know of a 5274 Recall. Could the some of the numbers be transposed? 5247 Fuel Injector Flash

Yes Possibly as I didn't write it down, and my memory is liable to have transposed them, but strange that Fiat don't know what the code is.

I will print out your list...and get Duncan to have a look...why do some need some updates and others another.... ours is the 160 (3.0ltr)

What is yours?

Carol

I have a Swift 630L on the 2.3 130 engine. Bought April 2007.

It's been traded for a Swift Voyager 3.0 160 Automatic

Due in about two weeks. Going through the Swift works now.

Razz Razz Razz

When the recall work was done, I asked Fish Bros in Swindon for a list of the work done. The list that I posted was the work done on my vehicle.

I finally found out what the recall is for - cruise control and the garage has to look on the e-learning site....

What exactly I don''t know within that, but should find out on Wednesday when it goes in for them all to be done....

My dealer, is saying that they were done at the factory before they got them, so why do they show up?

Hi,
There is a 5248 that is an uprated fuse on the starter relay.
