Thinking..... no hoping we will get a modicum of sunshine in Italy in June, I am considering the simplest form of sunshade to stand alone outside our van. There is no gutter, so I'm thinking a sunshade made of suitable material with four eyelets, four poles and some guys, simple as that.
Anyone know of such a thing or similar or where I can get one made up? The poles and guys will be easy.

it's called an Easi Canopy, I know you can buy little hand held gadgets to make eyelet holes. Is just a thought, is reasonably affordable at £49.99 comes in different colours and I'm sure you can source one locally or buy one online. I was told it was suitable for smaller motorhomes, ours is 10ft high so would be too high so depends on the height of yours.

Wow! Thanks all. Usual service, just great in here.
Wife doesn't like gazebos for a start.
The EZUP looks too bulky but clever though. That simple awning where I could get some eyelets put in makes some sense. Only started to think about this today, so will look around.

Try the Pound Shop Derek blue plastic sheeting 6 x 4 or you can get a bigger one in Halfords (dearer though) has eyelets in it attach 4 poles and guide ropes.
