I've installed the latest AVG 8.0 for free, it seems to be a lot more complicated than the earlier version.
I've got a problem.
I've got the following message.
Update manager.
Database update is disabled.
How can I enable the Update manager.
Any ideas please.
Don

Thanks for the advice but it's way above me.
My computing skills are very poor, the main problem is I don't understand the terminolgy a lot of the time.

If you are updating from 7.5 to 8.0, you must uninstall 7.5 first and REBOOT your PC. You will end up in a world of hurt if you don't reboot.

Is this not a 30 day trial... Or have you bought it?
