When you log in, is it possible to set something so the you first go to the screen "Posts since last log in" If so what? Currently you have to go through three sceens to get there and even with broadband it is a pain. At the very least it would be nice to open on the home page.

peedee,

Don't log out then go straight to homepage from browser favourites?

Thanks Dave it is an idea but even with broadband I go off line. It is also fine if you are on BB and don't pay for your time on line. When I was on dial up it was even more of a pain, fortunately I was on a fixed rate.

You also won't get an updated list?

Just set the site home page to be your browser home page, and don't log out, that way you get straight to the page you need as soon as you connect to broadband, and yes it does show latest postings Wink

I have

as my opening page through Favourites. Just one page from 24 hour Posts.

If you go into 'last 24 hour posts' and save into Favourites will that page then come up when you open up from your browser?

NB Just checked after logging off. It does.

Seems from the responses some of us have a similar problem and have found work arounds for the situation. Not ideal but in the absence of a more direct solution I think I will try Gillian's way for a while and see how that works out. Anything has to better than clicking though three screens when the site is this slow. I tried dial up this morning and it was impossible.

Thanks

peedee

Hi I have it set as my home page and never log out as previously said and it works fine.

Until today - I get a Warning at the top of the page and am talking to Dave about it via IM as I type this.

Weird, anyone else getting it.

Carol
