Hi All

We have issues with Brownhills and currently stand hundreds of pounds out of pocket. We have written to them twice and received no response, not even a courteous acknowledgment. We are now preparing to take them to the small claims court but before we do, does anyone know exactly what the situation is with them, so we don't waste any more money?

Graham and Kay,
If you are seeking any kind of litigation then you would be best not having any discussions about it in open forum.
As far as the current situation is concerned then the only information available is either on their website or press announcements.

If theres a true answer to be had from this forum, its a resounding

No,

I dont think the full story is in the public domain yet, alledgedly, and I do know that you prolly wont get a moderatror to comment for reasons they wont want to go into,

there is some info on the web, and thats a google search,

Sorry and all that ,

They state in their 'reorganisation' statement that they are honouring all past warranties, your guess is as good as mine.

Suggest you send a Recorded Letter or Registered Letter to their Managing Director Tom Booth who still appears to be in charge.
