My dealers great , full of hot air when selling but flustered when confronted.
We knew what van we wanted.. all we had to do was place the order, fine so far.
The dealer: O yes we can have your new van ready and PDI by Monday.
Us.. Fine but we would prefer Weds
The dealer; No problem,
Us. Fine so we will collect on Weds
The Dealer: Problem in Germany, delivery people overstreched.... would you like to go to Germany and collect yourself....... I will have to send someone over myself to drive it back is that ok
Us... When will we get the van
The dealer... Some sort of Christian hoilday on Monday in Germany. then got to drive it back, then PDI....
Us..... calling dealer, everyone too busy to deal with request will get back to you, yes your thinkings right, no call back from dealer, Fri so we are still not sure if we will make Newbury
The life of a happy motorhomer... it would be great if not for the dealers[

Never been let down on delivery dates - but all three motorhomes have been British built.
If the dealer had asked me to go to Germany......
"Of course I will, you pay my air fare and transport to the dealers, a hotel for one night, diesel, and ferry costs. Also, as the journey is 600 miles, please reduce the price of the van by 600 multiplied by (xxx pennies) per mile driven, xxxxx being figures you can claim accordinging to the inland rev for mileage etc"

I'll go for you, if the dealers willing to pay me.
Air fare, overnight hotel, Mileage at the equivilent of 75 pence per.
ferrry charge paid, plus all fuel costs, plus transport from hotel to dealer, oh and of course an insurance policy to cover vehicle and me,
if they want you to do it, thats what I'd want from them.
dont think they'd agree tho'

If your laptop is Microsoft, try going into the set up bit for windows, then choose the Uk stuff, ( the currency sign can be specified) it'll still show as the $ but will, I think show as £ when you press it.
unless I'm wrong, which is possible, but someone will set you up proper.

Why not try to get the Tracker fitted at cost to the dealer and you pay the annual fee, to make up for messing you about. We did and they agreed, and Spinneys' haven't even messed us about! Van coming next week so we are actually ahead of our delivery date by about 4-5 days.

I brought one back from the states a couple of years ago, and it worked for me, the keyboard was a bit odd, witht e @ and " symbols in their opposite places....if that makes sense.
Dunno about the currency set, that was ok on mine too.....in fact
