Anyone know where we could purchase a replacement Towing Eye Cover for the new Fiat Ducato cab? Ours appears to have fallen off at some time. I know we can order one directly from Fiat or through a Fiat dealer but just wondered if there is anywhere we could just walk in and purchase one off the shelf so to speak?
Thanks.
Sue

As it is a Fiat part I would think the only place you would get it is through s Fiat dealer.
Did you actually take it off to use the towing eye or did it just fall off on its own accord? Only asking as we have the same van and wondered if it was something we would have to look out for.

Hi Jan,
Well it never really looked a good fit to be honest with you - but we did actually take it off when we needed to get our vehicle towed up a steep hill in Italy due to the entrance of the site being up a very steep drive with a 90 degree bend and severe camber in it - which basically left one of our front wheels virtually off the ground. This my hubby says is due to the long wheel base of the Cheyenne 840 as shorter motorhomes were getting up this particular drive relatively problem free. The result was the wheels of our Cheyenne just wouldn't grip and were spinning away like a good un! Anyway, the site owners kindly towed us into the campsite and once onsite my husband put the towing eye back on. Not long after this we noticed durinng our Italian adventure that it was missing and whether this was because he had not put it back on properly or because it just didn't fit properly we don't know - but it might be worth checking yours Jan just in case.
Another word of advice .................. dont attempt to enter a narrow driveways, up steep inclines with very sharp bends and poor cambers in them!
