hi folks
has anyone got the alden solar power and what do you think of it ? i was thinking of getting one fixed to my van? could you recommend anyone close to manchester, i will be running a tv oyster sat and thats it really ,getting fed up of flat batterys every other day,

Hi Ollynfizz,

There are several posts on this forum all about the Alden panel. You may even find my posting of yesterday helpfull. http://www.motorhomefacts.com/ftopic-45342.html

I assume you are referring to the Alden Phenix rotating panel, if so then see the reports on Outdoor Bits for performance, pricing and fitting.

Personally I would have thought that if only for the Oyster and associated TV usage then something a little cheaper may suffice. That said if you are contemplating spending the best part of £2K then also consider the Efoy fuel cell as that will give you all year round power for the same cost
