Can anyone suggest a website which can explain in reasonably simple terms which, size/type/model/make/retailer/cost effective including purchase, inverter to buy for ocassional use in wildcamping locations. We have two 85 AH leisure batteries and may require to power sat digibox/tv and maybe other low power rated appliances.

Bonza,
I'm tempted to say this one. All you ask is stored here. Just search on inverters and read!

Hi
Sterling 150w Cost 29.99
Maplins 150 w Cost 19.99
The Sterling is better Quality and smoother, but both will do the Job.

Thanks Dave & George.
You were certainly correct about the wealth of information contained in the forums. I did a search using 'inverters' as the criteria and there were no less than 533 postings. I also followed the link to the Sterling website and gleaned further information there.
