Hi All
I am thinking of removing the Fiamma Top Box and Bike rack from my Kontiki. This is our first MH and I am hoping to fit a scooter rack and bike on the back. I dont think therefore the push bike rack will be able to be used in conjunction with the scooter rack and I am never going to use the top box. I am 19st with a gammy leg so I am not going up there anyway!
The bike rack looks easy enough to get rid of but I will need to send someone up to do the top box. Are they easy to remove and will removing it leave holes that need sealing?
Regards

Hi,
The Bike rack is very easy to remove, just two bolts and then it lifts off. The top box should be either clamped or strapped to a roof rack. If it is clamped, they will be u-bolts normally with the heads in the box. If it is strapped all you do is undo the straps. I sincerely hope that it is not fitted directly to the roof as that would be the work of an absolute idiot and will have damaged the roof.

If your top box is fixed to roof bars/rack it should be a easy matter to remove, on mine U bolts are fixed around the roof bars, then through the bottom of the box, secured with washers and nuts.
So it is just a matter of removing the nuts and lifting the box from the top of the M/H,
