Hi

I've just seen (via quidco link only - £13 cashback as well -

Looks like a bargain.

£120 for 18 months mobile internet at 3Gb a month.

OK - its not the fastest beast, but when travelling does that matter?
And - of course - UK only.

IS THIS A BARGAIN?

I think so - but can it be beaten?

The only thing preventing me from buying is seeing if I can get a mobile phone, with 3Gb of data (so bond to laptop) for <£10pm!!!!! Probably not I think! Unless you know better..

Hi

I am pretty sure that this offer is only open to existing 3Mobile contract holders...ie. you are a customer of 3 now and have a contracted phone....so it is a good deal ...as long as you meet this requirement.

I bought the dongle for £49 ( can be got cheaper now on the net) and pay £10 for a gig of data on PAYG... that was the best and cheapest deal I could find for a "dongle"

I've bought Smile
No place for "reocmmend a friend" on this offer though.

Gonna try it in my mobile and bond that to laptop for data that way....

See if I can flog the empty modem on eBay Smile (Assuming I get it working)

I have been using a 3 dongle for 3 months for nearly 2 months i could not get a signal, once you are away from a major town its useless, brighton campsite,no signal, edinburgh,i sent a list to 3 of all the places i could not get a signal, they were very sorry, and are giving me a £5 sorry gift,CHECK very carefully the coverage, its on population number,i think they are missleading people.
Kind regards
Howard

Hi

I had a THREE dongle in September - pretty much within days of the launch. I returned it as, poor connection and very slow down loading. It did occasionally run at very high speed, but not often.

Hi

Stew ( otherwise known as Artona Wink ) has just completed his 10,0000 th post on MHF ....all the recent ones via a 3 Mobile dongle. I found mine great to have on out recent trip to Cornwall.... I guess it's just how each user gets on with it and whether the places they go are covered by the service...but for me for now it's OK, not that that is conclusive as I do not have any other mobile connection to compare it with. More importantly and to be honest I found that the

of their coverage to be extremely accurate.
