Just seen an Argos 747 ( I think that was what was written on the side) being towed through Milton Kynes. Surprised to see that it was not on a low loader but was being towed with its front wheels off the ground. Its quite a big vehicle.

Oh dear. Happy to say it wasn't me, but can't believe the recovery firm sent what I believe is known in the trade as a 'wrecker' to recover a motorhome.

Nearly happened to me once, but I refused to let them dangle Bessie from the hook. The guys who came later with a low-loader assured me that there's no way a motorhome body/chassis would stand being recovered on a suspended tow. Maybe they were just spinning a yarn, but it sounded like sense to me.
