I have a Hymer 550S - 1992 Mercedes Chassis. This is our first Motorhome. I have a problem with my fresh water tank. When I turn the tap on or flush the toilet the water from the Fresh water tank hardly reaches the taps, very low pressure. Pump in tank seems to be running. Thetford cassette porta potti will not flush either. The water from the Fresh Water tank dispersing from a pipe behind the spare wheel directly onto the ground.
I hope someone will be able to help us.
Thank you
Tony

Hi,

Sounds like the pumps on its way out, suggest you locate the pump and undo the outlet pipe somewhere where you can catch the water in a bucket and then turn the pump on and see what pressure you are getting.

Good Luck

Peter

Sound more like you have a drain tap open somewhere if water is coming out of a pipe when the pump is running. Try to follow the pipe inside the van and see if there is a tap on it.
