Hi,
I have been lurking for some time and have finally taken the plunge and joined the forums!
We don't yet have a 'van but are (im)patiently awaiting delivery of an ENC Fifer Touring MWB which we ordered what seems like years ago at the SECC show in Glasgow at the beginning of the year.
This must be a Scottish day as we too live in the North East of Scotland, on the Moray coast. Can't wait to get the Fifer and get started!

Welcome to the forum Tand H and I am sure you will find the information and friendliness on here very useful.

You will love motorhoming and we became enthusiasts 4 years ago and just love the freedom that it allows us. You wont ever want to go on another package holiday again and even when we went to Thailand for 2 weeks last year; when our daughter got married out there, we still missed our motorhome! Sad innit? Very Happy

Nice to see a new face and as I have just returned from Scotland where everyone was so lovely and friendly it's nice to welcome you to the forum Very Happy

Sue

HI TandH,

Welcome to MHF.

The ENC Fifer seems to be winning loads of awards.

I'm not far from you on the Elgin side of Keith so if you need any help, just shout.

Cheers,
Alan (and Lesley)

Hi TandH,

Welcome to the forum. We don't know your choice of MH, however, here's hoping that you both enjoy your new hobby/pastime, whatever the choice...........obviously, when it arrives. Wink

Regards,

Jock & Rita.

Thanks for the welcome everybody. I should have introduced us properly! We are Tom and Helen and have lived in the North East for 8 years now and about 15 years before that, with a few years "home" in the Edinburgh area in between! We used to borrow a friends campervan many years ago and really enjoyed touring the west coast in it. Always wanted one ourselves but other things got in the way! So now we have decided not to let anything else - other than the long delivery - get in the way and are really looking forward to our first outing which will probably be the west coast again! Hope the delivery doesn't slip any more or I might go out and buy something in stock from a dealer!
No, won't do that as the Fifer is the 'van we have our hearts set on and I am sure will be worth the wait.
