Greetings,

Looking to buy a 2.6 metre high lean to awning, the nylon type with fibre poles, it needs to be light and easy to erect.

We have seen the Porchlite XL at Lincoln Show and the dealer insisted that it would fit, but it seemed that it would reach the awning rail on our Fiamma Awning but the skirt would be clear of the ground.

The Safari rooms are ideal but they are too heavy and too bulky, maybe some manufacturer makes an after market version that is both lighter and less bulky.

The Base Camp and Sun Camp models both seem to be too short as well.

hi humber traveller,
in our experience you have no chance. we did alot of research into this last year, spoke to lots of dealers, read reviews etc and decided a movelite xl would fit our van. we are the same awning rail 2.6m high. the movelite is supposed to fit up to 2.9 metres but no chance. it wasn't anywhere near the ground by the van and only just touching when it was opened out. the other thing we found was because of the lean we had trouble opening the habitation door. we have gone and bought a khyam gazebo which has helped us out quite a bit
