Anything is only as strong as its weakest point you could cut through these bars with a carpet knife.
Could I suggest changing them for titanium? The gaps are also too wide, requires more bars. Tamper proof screws should be exchanged for something more substantial. The interior of the locker could this be strengthened.
Yes you are........
I think that the most important things for the gas locker are the drain hole and the sealant.

Hi there,

Showed this post to my hubby and he said if it makes chasper feel better then no problem - we all do what makes us feel safest and happiest and like myself, he too believes each to their own on issues such as this. We cannot and do not all think alike and we all have our own ways of looking at matters of security and how far we are prepared to go to protect ourselves and our valuables.

As for fitting bars to our Gaslow locker ...... he declined my suggestion to do this informing me that due to the fact that you can only open the locker door where our Gaslow system is fitted from the inside of our vehicle and there is no visible lock on the exterior locker door. Plus he reckons it would be quite a noisy job trying to break into our locker so with any luck that in itself would hopefully deter the would be thief from targeting us but in addition we also have all our extenal lockers alarmed too. No way is fool proof though is it and like many have already said the determined crook will get in if he really wants to but the more obstacles in his way the better and it may just make an opportunist abandon the idea and look for an easier target. We all just have to try and ensure that we aren't considered to be the easier target don't we?

Sue

For my 5 bobs worth. My circumstances mean that if my vehicle is out of storage, then I, or a number of others, are always nearby, so that means have few worries about it being broken into.

However, in storage, .....well. I have electric, and security fob thing operated gates, and a 10 foot fence around the whole compound, theres cctv 24/7 and also a bloke what works 0800-1900 daily. IF you dont ring the security company before going into the compound, then the speakers scream at you and the police are called.

BUT......

I still got extra deadlocks on the door, alarms on all the lockers, and windows, and a tracker, and a thing that fits 'twixt steering wheel and brake pedal, and the portable genny is chained and padlocked either inside the locker I keep it in, or to the tow hitch when its used.

Paranoid?

yeah, prolly, do I care? not really, I feel comfy with the security I have got, and thats that.

So, its your motorhome mate, do what you feel needed and what makes you feel comfy.
