i fitted a maxveiw semiauto through the same hole as the old status, and it fitted perfect ,and it does not need to come down in high winds as the pole is bolted to the side wall of the wardrobe.

Hi

I use Oyster and think it is the bees knees - except when there is a tree in the vicinity. I am therefore considering a manual, tripod mounted dish for the next van.

It would be interesting to see the results of a competition between a maxview crank up, oyster, LCSautosat, Multimo, suitcase sat, tripod sat, camos, kathrein and any other type I have forgot to mention or possibly not heard of!, could set up and view a TV programme in the quickest time..

I've always been up for a little competition... but no one took up my offer. As you say, would be interesting to have a results table with average seek times on, help people decide which system to go for. Would take a few dealers to be involved tho, as im not sure any one dealer carries every single system.
